It could be the quiet

of noise amplified

by the buzz of bees

and birds chirping in the trees

-but a moment ago ignored-

The tickle of an ant between your toes

and the calming sun caressing your nose

whilst you doze

to the cadence of awakened senses...

 

A cackle of laughter

crawls towards you in the grass

as elbowing yourself up

you see in the distance a mass

of Alice in Wonderland hats

gracing smiling faces below

and parading towards you

in the full glow

of being

one with nature
