Dear Friends of Monserrate,

We are delighted to resume our activities with a new concert featuring the remarkable Brazilian artists Marcello Linhos (caipira guitar and vocals) and Andréa Teixeira (piano and flute), who will once again share their music with us on Saturday, October 12, at 3:00 p.m. in the Monserrate Palace. Details about the artists are attached.

As always, this concert aims to support the acquisition of new plant species to further enhance the beauty of the Monserrate Park.

We will be waiting at the Palace entrance with the flower/ribbon ticket for concert access: €15 (for members and non-members).

Please note that non-members will need to pay the entrance fee to Monserrate. Members with outstanding dues can settle them on the day to enjoy free entry.

For convenience, a shuttle will be available at the Park gate at 2:30 p.m. to transport those who prefer not to walk to the Palace.

After the concert, you are invited to join us for tea at the Association’s headquarters, where we’ll have a chance to chat with the artists.
 

In case of traffic delays between Sintra and Monserrate, we recommend an alternative route: head to Colares and turn left onto the old Estrada da Rainha. Despite the “No Entry” sign, access to Monserrate is permitted.
